• Xolani Osborne Mnyandu, Durban “I’d like to congratulate and extend my most sincere gratitude to the community of Inkamana, for being able to attempt a link with ex-scholars of the school. The website consoles the nostalgic episodes that I suffer from having had to leave a community I knew and loved after completing my matric. Thank you everybody, thank you Sr. Mary-George (Std6 class-teacher) for bridging religion and our everyday lives, thank you Br. Placid for molding our emotions and opinions into focus, thank you Sr. Francis for having always reminded us the beautiful nature of God, thank you Sr. Athanasia for being the example of how loyalty and pragmatism is a necessity, thank you Mr. Gregory for challenging my mathematics skills so much I felt depressed having had a “B” matric higher grade (is he good or what!!!), thank you also for making me realise how much quality there is in this life we’re living- you gave me an ear for Bach, Strauss, Handel, Beethoven and Mozart only to name a few, dankie Mevrou Steenkamp u was die beste Afrikaans onderwyseris, so goed dat ek luister na radio twee-duisend net om daardie (passionate) taal te hoor. I will never forget the late Sr. Maria for her excellent skills in teaching, as well as her witty ways of getting us to work on a hot Summer afternoon. How can I forget a great friend of mine and English teacher Mrs. Gregory, did I mention that she was just too great- God bless you Chris. Mrs Grobelaar, a real lady, soft-spoken and could contain her anger and irritability so much you would bet she was living in the 19th century. Mrs Johnstone, tough as nails but jolly. Thank you so much guys, I’ll always be thankful to you. Now, how can I forget Fr. Abbot- Thank you for allowing me to attend Verspers with the monks, it made me find things I may have never known I had in me, like my sincere urge to communicate with God! Br. Bernard, you were a real monk, and us boys admired that, Br. Andrew nothing would have changed without you, I bet this website has something to do with you, ….. yes, yes, Inkamana was great, and I’ll always feel indebted to her. Your loyal ex-scholar Osborne” 963069471@stu.und.ac.za
